Prof. Dr. David Engels at the Instytut Zachodni

David Engels, born 1979 in the Belgian town of Verviers, studied at the RWTH-Aachen and was nominated head of the Chair for Roman History at the University of Brussels (ULB). Since 2018, Prof. Dr. David Engels works for the Instytut Zachodni in Poznan, where he researches and publishes on the field of the identity crisis of the modern West. Here, he speaks about the reasons which led him move to Poland, about his newest books and about the general intellectual framework of his activities.
